In the Fall of 2012, I began working on Intimate Apparel By Lynn Nottage. It was directed by Adrienne Williams and designed by Deepsikha Chatterjee. Our journey began with tons of research on the period, as well as research on the construction of the garment. For this show I swatched many fabrics in the Garment district for the construction of the corsets and robe. For the corsets, we used a silk dupioni and for the robe, a printed polyester satin. For this production, I also made the extension to Esther's cape.
